McCain Hi-Performance warrants its fishing rods to be free from defects in material and workmanship to the original owner for a period of one year.
McCain Hi-Performance will, at its option, either repair or replace any part of the rod that proves to be defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials. This warranty does not cover any damage due to accident, abuse, misuse, natural disaster, repair, or modification. This warranty covers only repair or replacement of defective rods.
GETTING YOUR MHP ROD BACK IN ACTION
Don’t panic. Simply return your rod to us along with all of your contact info.
We’ll take it from there.
Rods submitted for warranty claims must be returned to McCain Hi-Performance in non-returnable packaging along with a check or money order for $50.00 to cover return shipping and handling. A copy of your receipt must accompany any return as well as a note detailing your warranty claim.
You will be notified of our warranty determination in a prompt and timely manner.
This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the rod and does not cover consequential damages due to the failure of the rod unless they are specifically included under various state laws.
McCain Hi-Performance reserves the right to determine whether to repair or replace any McCain Hi-Performance rod covered by this warranty and the right to replace any discontinued or special edition models with comparable models when necessary.
Rod Replacement Program
For damages determined to be from accident, abuse, normal wear and tear, or neglect, McCain Hi-Performance offers a no-hassle replacement policy. Customer may purchase a replacement rod of comparable quality at 50% off the MSRP.

McCain Hi-Performance Dealers are not authorized to make warranty decisions. In order for your rod to obtain the proper warranty inspection and determination, the damaged rod must be sent to the McCain Hi-Performance Warranty Service Center.
